Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP license for Connecticut (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
