Make a real impact supporting students’ speech and language development at a school near Stanford, CA! This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives in a collaborative educational setting and enjoys facilitating students’ growth and communication skills.

You will provide direct therapy, evaluate students, and develop individualized treatment plans to address a range of speech and language disorders. Work side-by-side with educators and families to promote positive academic and social outcomes for students.

You’ll excel in this role if you bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • California SLP license (or eligibility)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in a school environment
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs and track students’ progress
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and delivering evidence-based speech and language interventions
  • Developing IEP goals and objectives, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintaining thorough records and documentation as required by the school
  • Supporting generalization of skills in classroom settings through teacher collaboration and consultation
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing professional expertise
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
