Key qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
  • Current California SLP license or eligibility
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates considered
  • Experience working in K-12 school environments is valued
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

What you’ll be doing:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting each student’s unique goals
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in small groups
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress
  • Partner with teachers, families, and support staff to create supportive learning environments
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and student support discussions
