Key qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
- Current California SLP license or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates considered
- Experience working in K-12 school environments is valued
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting each student’s unique goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in small groups
- Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress
- Partner with teachers, families, and support staff to create supportive learning environments
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and student support discussions
