Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Starbuck, Minnesota

This contract opportunity is ideal for dynamic Speech Language Pathologists and SLP Assistants who are passionate about fostering communication skills in children from PreK through 12th grade. As part of a collaborative virtual community, you’ll assess, diagnose, and deliver individualized therapy plans, helping students achieve their personal and academic goals.

What you bring:

• Valid Minnesota SLP license (active or in process)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) for SLPs
• At least 2 years of previous experience in a school-based setting
• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and comfort delivering services virtually
• Strong background in pediatric and/or healthcare speech-language services
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and experienced SLPA professionals welcome
• Tech-savvy approach: computer, webcam, and understanding of basic technology required
• Ability to pass technical screening and internet speed test
• Annual liability insurance with 500K/500K coverage

What you’ll do:

• Assess and identify student needs, evaluating speech and language abilities
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct and indirect teletherapy for speech and language disorders
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with educators, families, and a team of virtual advisors to support students’ overall development
• Commit to full-time or part-time schedules aligned with school requirements, with contracts covering the 2024-2025 school year
