Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) for Mississippi
  • SLP-CCC credentials or in progress for CFY
  • Strong background in pediatric and school-based therapy
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with IEP development and documentation
  • Experience with a diverse student population preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individual and group therapy sessions
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of progress and interventions
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing insightful recommendations
  • Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
