Step into a role this upcoming 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and contribute to the success and communication development of students near the State College, PA area. As several valued professionals retire, this opportunity opens for two dedicated SLPs ready to make a lasting difference in a supportive educational setting.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania
- Clinical experience in a school environment, preferably K-12
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborative, professional, and adaptable with strong communication skills
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to students on a caseload
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals for student progress
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of services provided
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Provide consultation and recommendations for classroom strategies
