Ideal qualifications and experience:

• Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• State licensure for practice in New York
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare settings
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
• Strong rapport-building and communication abilities
• Organized approach to managing caseloads
• Ability to create individualized education and therapy plans

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy sessions for students, both individually and in groups
• Administer screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students’ needs
• Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to each student’s goals
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and regulatory requirements
• Participate in meetings and provide progress updates for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
