Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Adept with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Compassion and patience in working with school-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
- Conduct therapy sessions in-person and/or via teletherapy as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Document evaluations, therapy sessions, and student outcomes in compliance with school protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and modifications
