Qualifications and Preferred Experience

  • Active North Carolina SLP license (required)
  • Speech-Language Pathology CCC preferred, but SLP-CF candidates are welcome for consideration
  • Experience working in K-8 educational settings strongly preferred
  • Background in providing speech and language therapy in a school or pediatric population
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work onsite exclusively

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary and middle school students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate speech-language goals into the classroom setting
  • Document student progress, prepare evaluation reports, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide guidance and support to educational teams regarding communication strategies
  • Maintain compliance with state and district regulations
