Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid SLP licensure/certification in the appropriate state
  • Experience working with students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Confidence providing 1:1 speech and language services within school settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Organized, flexible, and responsive to diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions for students across various grade levels
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and maintain IEPs and progress reports
  • Offer consultation and support to classroom teachers to enhance student communication and participation
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding progress and strategies for support
