Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 2:50 PM, Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week)

A school district in Steger, Illinois is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join its team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a middle school caseload in a collaborative school environment focused on supporting student communication and academic success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services and maintain required documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Supervise Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates as needed.

Caseload

• Middle school students
• AAC device experience preferred

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
• Must be willing to supervise Clinical Fellows.
• School-based experience preferred.
• CFs and SLPAs will not be considered.

Education

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
