Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will make a lasting impact in local schools while working alongside dedicated educators and support staff.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Virginia SLP license (or eligibility for VA licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
  • Skilled communicator adept at engaging K-12 students, staff, and parents
  • Comfortable working onsite throughout the assignment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect SLP services to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Administer assessments, provide therapy, and conduct screenings to support communication disorders
  • Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education teams, and families to foster student growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school-based SLP services
