Make an impact supporting middle and high school students with their communication needs in a contract-based position beginning as soon as possible. This role offers the opportunity to work onsite three days a week, providing speech and language services to adolescents in an engaging and collaborative educational setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working with middle and/or high school-aged students preferred
- Strong assessment and documentation abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual and group needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to each student’s educational goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff, teachers, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for student success
- Offer support and resources for teachers and families to encourage carryover of skills
This position offers a set schedule of three days per week, allowing for work-life balance and professional growth. Contracts begin as soon as possible, with an end date to be determined based on district need and candidate fit.
