Speech Language Pathologist in Sterling Heights, MI

This part-time opportunity features a flexible three-days-per-week schedule, beginning as soon as possible and continuing until further notice.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Experience with adolescent populations strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies for diverse student needs
• Previous school-based or educational setting experience a plus

Primary Duties:

• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver targeted speech and language therapy for middle and high school students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective interventions
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed to facilitate student growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Provide support and guidance for generalization of skills within the classroom environment
