This engaging three-day-a-week position begins as soon as possible and is open until further notice. Located near Sterling Heights, MI, the role offers the chance to make a direct impact on students’ communication skills in a supportive educational environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Experience working with middle and high school-aged students preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Previous experience with IEP development and implementation is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Conduct therapy sessions in either group or individual formats
  • Track and document student progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to team discussions
  • Collaborate with educators and families for consistent support and generalization of skills
  • Provide guidance and resources to classroom teachers and educational staff
