Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working with middle and high school-aged students preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Previous experience with IEP development and implementation is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Conduct therapy sessions in either group or individual formats
- Track and document student progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to team discussions
- Collaborate with educators and families for consistent support and generalization of skills
- Provide guidance and resources to classroom teachers and educational staff
