School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Sterling Heights, Michigan

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting PreK and elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time, contract basis. Working with a caseload across both PreK and elementary levels, you’ll help students develop essential skills for success in and out of the classroom.

Key Qualifications:

• Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience or strong interest in working with PreK and elementary students
• Ability to contribute collaboratively as part of a team of 4 SLPs
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn ABI VBD approaches
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Commitment to supporting children with diverse language, speech, and communication needs

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group speech-language therapy to PreK and elementary students
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary teams
• Adapt therapy goals and strategies to meet the unique needs of each learner
• Ensure compliance with school, district, and state guidelines
