Step into a fulfilling role as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students at the PreK and elementary levels. We're seeking four dedicated SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) to provide vital services and make a lasting impact on young learners.
In this full-time, contract opportunity, you'll be working closely with educational teams to address a variety of speech, language, and communication needs—including students with ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) and those using Verbal Behavior Development (VBD) approaches. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP-CCC required
- Michigan SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience with PreK and elementary populations
- Comfort with ABI and VBD strategies preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage a full caseload and provide direct and indirect services
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions both one-on-one and in small groups
- Collaborate with educators, aides, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation for assessments, therapy, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert recommendations and updates
- Employ VBD approaches and support students with ABI as needed
