Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Sterling Heights, MI

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY eligibility
• Professional background in school-based speech-language pathology, including evaluation and intervention for pediatric populations
• Experience with teletherapy platforms or strong interest in virtual service delivery (VoCo SLPs welcome to interview)
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset when working with educators, families, and related service teams
• Ability to tailor evidence-based therapy approaches to diverse needs and learning styles

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students, developing individualized treatment plans based on findings
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy, either on-campus or virtually, to support academic and social success
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress, meeting state and district requirements
• Collaborate with IEP teams to create inclusive, supportive learning environments
• Communicate regularly with teachers and caregivers to promote carryover of skills
