School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Sterling Heights, Michigan

Preferred experience and qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Current state licensure for SLP in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous school-based experience strongly desired
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to provide both direct and consultative therapy services

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Developing individualized treatment plans in accordance with student needs
• Delivering therapy services in group and one-on-one settings
• Participating in IEP meetings and providing input to multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborating with teachers and families to facilitate generalization of skills
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
• Staying up-to-date with best practices in the field and continuing professional growth
