Speech Language Pathologist in Sterling Heights, MI

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• State SLP licensure (or eligibility) for Michigan
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and a collaborative, student-focused work style

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct intervention for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans and document progress toward objectives
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal education requirements
• Provide both individual and group therapy, adapting strategies to best support student needs throughout the school year
