Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Sterling Heights, Michigan

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the remainder of the school year in Sterling Heights, MI. This contract role is ideal for professionals with experience working in educational settings who are passionate about supporting children’s communication and language development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain detailed records of student evaluations and therapy sessions
• Provide recommendations and referrals as needed to ensure students’ communication needs are met

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan
• Experience working in pediatric and school settings
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred for new graduates
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
