Desired Qualifications:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Licensed (or eligible) as an SLP in the state of Michigan
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable
  • Solid foundation in assessment and intervention strategies for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a multidisciplinary team setting
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments for students referred for speech and language services
  • Provide individualized and group therapy sessions targeting a wide range of communication challenges
  • Develop and deliver IEPs in collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for assessments, progress reports, and service delivery
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to help shape effective educational plans
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ communication needs within the school community
