Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP licensure, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Solid background working in school settings, particularly with elementary-age children
- Skilled in delivering comprehensive speech and language services, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with teachers, support staff, and families
- Ability to tailor services to individual student needs and maintain accurate documentation
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in kindergarten through 5th grade
- Conduct evaluations and manage caseloads in accordance with IEP requirements
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop effective treatment plans and strategies
- Document student progress, maintain records, and prepare reports as needed
- Attend relevant team and IEP meetings to support student growth and success
