Here's an exciting opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about working with upper elementary students! Two contract positions are available for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in a supportive school-based environment near Sterling Heights, MI. This role allows you to make meaningful progress with students while maintaining flexibility in your schedule, with options for either a 4-day or 2-day workweek.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current or pending Speech-Language Pathology license
  • CCC-SLP, pediatric SLP experience, or candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome
  • Demonstrated experience supporting school-aged children, especially upper elementary grades
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
  • Strong communication, documentation, and rapport-building skills

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to upper elementary students as indicated in IEPs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine communication needs and develop targeted goals
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and management of individualized education plans
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school professionals to integrate speech interventions across settings
  • Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and provide resources
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
