Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure in Michigan
- ASHA Certification (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric populations, especially within an educational setting
- Understanding of IEP process, data-driven intervention, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students, tailoring interventions to individual needs
- Serve a diverse caseload, including general and self-contained classrooms
- Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations, develop treatment goals, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to foster student growth
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and adapt strategies as needed
- Support classroom communication skills and offer consultative services to staff
Position Details:
- Contract runs from August 22, 2026 through June 6, 2027
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
