This contract position runs from August 17, 2026, through June 23, 2027, offering a rewarding opportunity to work onsite in a collaborative, student-focused environment. You’ll join a supportive team and take part in shaping communication skills for students across various ages, with a manageable caseload that remains well below the state maximum of 60 students.

Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping children achieve their communication goals and supporting their academic success. The workweek consists of 37.5 hours, promising a balanced schedule while making a lasting difference.

What We’re Seeking:

  • Current, valid Michigan SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment methods and IEP implementation
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
  • Ability to provide onsite services throughout the duration of the assignment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and write reports
  • Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy and intervention to assigned students
  • Collaborate actively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state standards
