Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Sterling Heights, MI

A talented and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for the 2026-2027 academic year. You'll be an essential resource, supporting students’ communication needs and helping them reach their full potential in an inclusive educational environment.

Assignment Details:

• Contract runs from August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027
• Full-time position at 32.5 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break)

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license in the state of Michigan
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
• School-based SLP experience highly preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Committed to fostering positive growth and development in children and adolescents

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate student records and report on progress
• Deliver both direct therapy and consultative services as needed
• Adapt strategies to support diverse learners and promote classroom success
