Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience in school settings, especially with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, is preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop targeted treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation to monitor progress and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to help set measurable goals
