Step into a fulfilling contract role where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can make a real difference in the lives of young learners. We are seeking a dedicated, part-time SLP for the 2026/2027 school year, working with students in Kindergarten through 4th grade. With a manageable caseload of 20–24 students and a flexible, 18-hour workweek, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on quality intervention and relationship-building within the school setting.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP); Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Michigan SLP licensure or ability to obtain before start date
  • Experience supporting pediatric or school-aged populations, especially in the K–4th grade range
  • Familiarity with IEP process, progress monitoring, and data-driven therapy
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, families, and school staff

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and direct speech-language therapy for students with communication challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, instructional staff, and parents to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions that help students achieve communication and academic goals
  • Participate in school-based professional development and team meetings as required
