School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Sterling Heights, Michigan

This contract role offers 18 hours per week, serving a manageable caseload of 20 to 24 students. What you'll bring:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active or eligible state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status encouraged
• Experience or interest in working with pediatric and elementary-aged populations
• Familiarity with the school environment and IEP process
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, families, and students
• Dedication to fostering student growth and providing individualized support

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-4
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's needs
• Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to a diverse caseload
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, parents, and other specialists
• Provide progress updates and participate in student support meetings as needed
