This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 13, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30am to 4pm. You'll work alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team, helping students excel in communication and reach their full academic and social potential.
What we’re seeking:
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY with an active Michigan licensure
- Previous experience or clinical practicum in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Comfort working independently and managing a diverse caseload
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation best practices
In this engaging role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary-aged students
- Developing individualized therapy plans and implementing evidence-based interventions
- Leading both group and individual therapy sessions as outlined by student IEPs
- Consulting and collaborating with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Maintaining accurate records and progress notes to monitor student growth
- Participating in IEP meetings, contributing insights and recommendations
