Qualified candidates should bring:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure in Michigan
  • Current or eligibility for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Strong background in conducting comprehensive speech/language assessments
  • Experience supporting K-12 student populations preferred
  • Flexibility to travel to different school buildings as needed
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Duties will include:

  • Providing speech-language support to multiple schools with high caseloads
  • Conducting evaluations and re-evaluations of students’ speech and language needs
  • Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Offering targeted interventions to help students develop vital communication skills
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure appropriate services and accommodations
