School Speech Language Pathologist - Sterling Heights, Michigan

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and active Michigan SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous school-based experience preferred, working with elementary age students
• Strong organizational skills to manage assessments, documentation, and service plans
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for teamwork and family engagement

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEPs
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to small groups and individuals
• Consult with teachers and staff to support student progress within the classroom
• Collaborate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams on student goals
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with state and district policies
