School Speech Language Pathologist - Sterling Heights, Michigan

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• School-based or pediatric experience is preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to approximately 40 students across grades 1–5, supporting communication needs within the educational setting
• Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize each child’s success
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring for students referred for speech and language services
• Work across two elementary sites, fostering a seamless experience for staff and students at each location
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district requirements
