An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students’ communication development starting this fall. This role will have you working closely with children in a school environment, making a meaningful impact as you help students strengthen their speech and language skills throughout the semester.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Michigan licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Passion for working with children and collaborating with educational teams

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students with speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
  • Implement evidence-based therapy to address IEP goals for each student
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student planning sessions, and training as required
  • Provide recommendations and strategies for classroom adaptations
  • Foster a positive and supportive therapy environment

Contract Details:

  • Assignment begins mid-October and concludes mid-January
  • Located near Sterling Heights, MI
  • Full-time contract with standard school hours
