Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state
  • Experience providing speech therapy services within an educational environment, ideally across elementary, middle, and high school populations
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, therapy techniques, and IEP implementation for students with diverse needs
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively while servicing a varied caseload

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized assessments and observation
  • Develop tailored treatment plans and goals in line with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students in grades K-12
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, therapy notes, and progress data
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student needs and accommodations
