Qualifications:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state
- Experience providing speech therapy services within an educational environment, ideally across elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, therapy techniques, and IEP implementation for students with diverse needs
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively while servicing a varied caseload
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized assessments and observation
- Develop tailored treatment plans and goals in line with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, therapy notes, and progress data
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student needs and accommodations
