Step into an engaging school-based position focused on supporting students’ communication needs in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This contract opportunity spans from February 1, 2027, through May 24, 2027, and covers FMLA leave across a range of settings—including a specialized day school, high school, and preschool walk-in visits. You’ll work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, within a community located near Sterling and Dixon, IL.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree or candidacy in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP or CFY)
- Eligibility for applicable state licensure and certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience or comfort working with diverse student populations across multiple grade levels
- Desire to grow professionally within a supportive, team-centered atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide speech-language services for students in preschool, specialized, and high school settings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
- Document assessments, goals, and progress notes in a timely and thorough manner
- Engage in monthly meetings and roundtables for ongoing collaboration with colleagues
- Contribute to process improvement and promote evidence-based best practices
