Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Stevensville, MD

Ideal candidates have experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders among school-aged children. You’ll work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that help each student reach their full potential.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, however strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
• Experience in school settings preferred
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and screenings to determine students’ speech and language needs
• Develop individualized therapeutic interventions and IEPs
• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in group and one-on-one sessions
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support students’ classroom progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
