Speech Language Pathologist in Stevensville, MD

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
• Previous school-based experience is a plus, though strong new graduates will also be considered.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with IEP processes and collaborating with educators, families, and support staff.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred for evaluation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting students’ communication goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to facilitate classroom integration and student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with school and district policies.
• Provide direct therapy services, prevention strategies, and consultation as needed.
