Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a long-term substitute providing speech-language therapy services in a dynamic educational environment near Stillwater, MN. Two assignment windows are available: late May to early June 2026, and September through early December 2026. This full-time position offers traditional school hours and the chance to deliver direct, meaningful impact to students across a speech-only caseload.

Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to support approximately 25 students, managing therapy, evaluation, IEP participation, and critical documentation. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring continuity of services, collaborating with educational teams, and maintaining compliance with Minnesota school standards.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

  • Active Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (varies by assignment)
  • Prior school-based speech-language pathology experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage IEP compliance, therapy documentation, and efficient scheduling
  • Skilled in conducting evaluations and providing direct speech services
  • Experience with elementary and/or secondary student populations advantageous
  • Familiarity with Minnesota-specific compliance requirements
  • Quick adaptability to established caseloads and systems

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services in a school-based setting
  • Perform student evaluations and develop relevant service plans
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Complete required documentation in a timely, accurate manner
