Make a difference in students’ lives as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving elementary learners in a dynamic school setting near Stillwater, MN. This full-time, full-school-year assignment offers 37.5 hours per week and the opportunity to contribute to multiple school communities.
Initially, you’ll provide vital maternity leave coverage at one building through Thanksgiving break, supporting students and staff with your expertise. Following this period, you’ll transition to supporting additional sites as needs arise due to staff leaves—or deliver compensatory services to students who may have missed out earlier in the year. This unique assignment allows for variety, collaboration, and the ability to make an impact across different teams and student populations.
Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous experience working in school settings with elementary-aged caseloads
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and collaborate with diverse school teams
- Strong commitment to supporting students’ communication development and educational goals
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to elementary students, both individually and in small groups
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations as necessary
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with special education teams
- Manage documentation, progress reporting, and data collection in accordance with district and state requirements
- Serve as a flexible team member, moving between buildings or providing compensatory services as needed
