Key qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC
  • Experience or interest in working with a K-12 student population
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques for a diverse caseload
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and positive outcomes

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conducting screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students with speech and language needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • Delivering direct and consultative speech therapy interventions tailored to each student's goals
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and federal guidelines
  • Participating in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
  • Supporting positive communication and language development across all grade levels
