Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and language development throughout the full school year. This role offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time schedules and involves working with a diverse K-12 caseload. Two Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to provide their expertise and compassion to help students reach important milestones.
Key Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders across various age groups
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Team-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, diagnostics, and evidence-based intervention for students K-12
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to track student progress
- Offer support and recommendations for classroom accommodations and strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute valuable insights for the success of each student
- Maintain ongoing communication with teachers and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student support
