Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapy for students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs from preschool through sixth grade
- Develop individualized education plan (IEP) goals and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to support student achievement
- Maintain accurate assessment and therapy records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student care planning
- Offer guidance and support to classroom teachers regarding strategies for speech and language integration
