Qualifications:
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy planning abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Assess students for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy sessions
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support each student's needs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with local and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families for carrying over strategies outside of therapy
