Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • School-based experience or strong clinical background with pediatric populations preferred
  • Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and inclusive learning environments

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 students
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, administrators, and parents
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district protocols
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support students’ academic success
  • Offer consultation and in-services for staff and families when needed
