Make a meaningful impact as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students in elementary settings, ranging from PreK through 8th grade, in the Storrs Mansfield area. This rewarding contract position is full-time, running from August 18, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with regular weekday hours from 8 am to 3 pm. You’ll work with a diverse caseload of approximately 40 to 50 students, helping them achieve their communication goals in a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Connecticut Speech Language Pathologist license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants considered
  • Experience with elementary and middle school age groups preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in both group and one-on-one settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress and participation
  • Maintain accurate records of student goals, sessions, progress reports, and required documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach
  • Support inclusive practices that promote student growth and access to the curriculum
