This contract position offers the flexibility to work full or part time, within the structured hours of 8:30am–3:00pm, supporting students in Pre-K through second grade. Located in-person within an easy 25-minute commute from Norwich, you’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and families in a vibrant school setting.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience or interest in working with students ages Pre-K to 2nd grade
  • Familiarity with school-based documentation and best practices
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Dedicated to fostering student communication development and educational success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language services to young children
  • Participate in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings as a vital team member
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other providers to support holistic student growth
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and school guidelines
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for children of varied abilities
