Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience with K-12 populations in educational settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to the needs of various age groups

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide direct speech-language services to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to facilitate student learning and social success
  • Document student progress and maintain clear, timely records in accordance with school policy
  • Engage in parent meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development activities as needed
  • Provide resources and support to staff and families to enhance communication strategies within the school community
  • Manage a full-time caseload, working 37.5 hours per week during regular school hours for the entire academic year
