This contract role offers the opportunity to support growth and development across a vibrant K-5 student population in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The position is conveniently located near Strasburg, CO, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Colorado
  • Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience highly valued
  • Strong knowledge of assistive communication devices and tools
  • Outstanding communication, organization, and documentation abilities
  • Compassionate, flexible, and collaborative approach working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to enhancing student access, participation, and communication

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify student speech, language, and communication needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings to develop individualized education plans and document progress
  • Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language therapy per each student’s IEP
  • Adapt supports and interventions for students with intellectual disabilities
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to implement best practices
  • Maintain accurate records and fulfill all required documentation
  • Caseload to be determined during the interview based on program needs and candidate expertise
