School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Strasburg, Virginia

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License is required
• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Proven experience or training in school-based SLP practice
• Strong proficiency with individualized education plans (IEPs) and documentation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfortable adapting to both in-person and virtual therapy formats, as the district remains open to remote service delivery

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver diagnostic assessments and therapeutic interventions for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement IEP goals in coordination with educational teams and families
• Maintain clear, timely, and compliant documentation of services and student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to support students in inclusive classroom environments
• Provide guidance and education to caregivers and staff regarding best practices in speech and language development
