Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current VA SLP License (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school settings highly preferred
- Proficiency in evaluation, diagnostics, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage caseload and documentation
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track progress towards goals
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions in individual and group settings, addressing articulation, language, voice, and fluency concerns
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student learning and participation
- Maintain clear, accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development
