Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and use evidence-based practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in line with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, progress, and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights
- Advocate for speech and language needs within the school community
