Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold current licensure in Illinois as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Recent experience working in school settings, providing services to elementary or secondary students
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Proficient in implementing IEP goals and conducting evaluations
- Comfortable working in-person with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
- Provide direct intervention sessions according to IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for integrated student support
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Stay current with best practices and compliance standards in school-based therapy
