Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Hold current licensure in Illinois as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Recent experience working in school settings, providing services to elementary or secondary students
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in implementing IEP goals and conducting evaluations
  • Comfortable working in-person with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Provide direct intervention sessions according to IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for integrated student support
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
  • Stay current with best practices and compliance standards in school-based therapy
