Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Strongsville, OH

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students at the elementary level as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an 8-week leave assignment starting mid-October. You’ll work with approximately 35 elementary-aged students, helping to unlock communication skills and guide them toward academic and personal growth in a positive, collaborative environment. This full-time role takes place in a welcoming elementary school setting, where school hours run from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm—providing a balanced work schedule.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Ohio
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably at the elementary level
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of roughly 35 elementary students
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and create engaging therapy sessions tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings as required
