Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Embark on a rewarding contract position supporting elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This assignment covers a maternity leave, beginning November 2nd, and will last approximately 6-8 weeks. In a warm and collaborative school environment near Stroudsburg, PA, you’ll work daily with a caseload of 36 to 42 students, focusing primarily on those with Autism and life skills needs.

Your expertise will bring meaningful progress in communication and confidence to students during this critical period.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and certification (SLP-CCC)
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong background working with Autistic students and those with diverse life skills needs
• Ability to conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and implement therapy plans
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students in an elementary school
• Assess, diagnose, and create intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliant and timely documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and regular school activities
• Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student growth
