Apply NowEmbark on a rewarding contract position supporting elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This assignment covers a maternity leave, beginning November 2nd, and will last approximately 6-8 weeks. In a warm and collaborative school environment near Stroudsburg, PA, you’ll work daily with a caseload of 36 to 42 students, focusing primarily on those with Autism and life skills needs.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and certification (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong background working with Autistic students and those with diverse life skills needs
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and implement therapy plans
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students in an elementary school
- Assess, diagnose, and create intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliant and timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and regular school activities
- Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student growth
