Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students across the Southeast Florida Coast in a full-year SLP contract role, beginning August 5, 2026. This on-site assignment places you with a dynamic educational team, addressing the speech and language needs of diverse caseloads, including K-12, ASD, EBD, resource therapy, and inclusive education environments with robust peer support at several campuses.

You’ll work primarily with one to two schools, depending on the assignment, delivering assessment, intervention, and consultation services for students ranging from Pre-K to high school. There are various openings, including full-year and potential split maternity leave coverages, so whether you prefer middle, high school, or K-8 populations, there’s an ideal match for your skills.

What you’ll bring:

  • Valid and active SLP licensure (CCC required)
  • School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Flexibility to serve at 1–2 campuses in Port Saint Lucie and Fort Pierce
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and fellow SLPs and SLPAs
  • Ability to manage diverse caseloads independently and as part of a specialized team

Core responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with a range of communication disorders
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services (pull-out and classroom-based)
  • Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
  • Mentor SLPAs and contribute to a collegial, supportive environment
  • Manage, organize, and transition between assigned campuses as needed

This is an on-site only, contract role, averaging 35 hours per week, following the academic year calendar. Assignments are full-time, with clear schedules and supportive onsite colleagues where available.
