Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students in a single school setting, located near scenic Sturgeon Bay, WI. This role begins September 21st and continues through May 21st, offering consistent, daytime hours that align with a traditional school schedule (7:45 am to 3:15 pm, Monday through Friday, 35 hours a week). Manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 students, providing vital speech-language services that foster communication and developmental progress.
Your skills in school-based SLP, SLP-CCC, healthcare, pediatrics, school environments, teletherapy, and clinical fellowship year (CFY) candidates will all be valued. Experience in Wisconsin schools will help you shine even brighter in this environment.
What you need to bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and appropriate ASHA certification (CCC preferred, but CFY considered)
- Wisconsin SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working with pediatric or K-12 populations, preferably in a school setting
- Familiarity with teletherapy and comfort integrating digital solutions into therapy
- Strong communication, case management, and documentation skills
- Capable of collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Complete timely progress monitoring and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize both in-person and telepractice methods as needed
